Visitors to Door County often plan their trip in advance and secure their lodging arrangements online using the internet. Thanks to our aggressive marketing and social networking on Facebook, Twitter, etc., visitors often find us as they search the web, and they begin their Door County visit here! As they plan their stay, visitors often look for interesting places to go and people to see. Our publication provides that experience. This document outlines our Annual Sponsorship opportunities. Annual Sponsorships are now available for the 2012 - 2013 season. These are "box ads" that appear on our article pages. They include one photo of your choice, your website and other important links, and 1-2 sentences containing a brief description of your business. We allow only two sponsors per article, which means your company's name is not "lost" in the midst of others as often happens with other local media. Only 24 such sponsorships are allowed this season in order to maximize your exposure to our readers. Included in the Annual Sponsorship is an article about your business. This article is usually in the form of an "advertorial". It's like a feature story about your business, service, or product, but you have control over what is written. The word "advertorial" is a combination of the words "advertisement" and "editorial". Example of an Advertorial-type article The chart below shows the rates for the 2012-2013 season. You'll notice that the deeply discounted cost for including the winter months makes an annual sponsorship very affordable. Magazine available via RSS feed, which is mobile phone-friendly. -Editorial emphasis is on features about interesting people and places in Door County, with a flair for the unusual, the overlooked, or "off the beaten path" themes. -Substantial owner investment of time and money in software platform to ensure stability and user friendliness. -Locally owned and operated.
