Anyone whose heart rate races with the sight of a sleek sports car or the vision of a vintage classic car had better be prepared to have their pulse checked on Saturday, August 18 in the beautiful Village of Egg Harbor. The Door County Sports & Classics Car Show runs 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Sponsored by the Egg Harbor Business Association, the Door County Sports & Classics Car Show is a judged event, with winners to be selected in 12 categories plus a "People's Choice" award. The setting is special ... as the entire Village of Egg Harbor is the venue. There will be cars parked in Harbor View Park - overlooking the Bay of Green Bay, cars on the breakwater and at the marina, as well as six other locations - all within close walking distance. Live music all day will add to the fun and excitement. Raffle prizes will be given away and awards will be presented at 2:30 pm. Sports cars of every age are eligible to be displayed. Classic cars must be model year 1979 or older. Registration is $10.00 (until August 1).
