Smart as a whip and a real live wire - meet SPARKY, a female Jack Russell Terrier mix who has more personality per pound than any other dog you’ve met.
Sparky was a recent surrender to the Humane Society, and her veterinarian in Maryland confirms she is 12 years old. But one visit with Sparky will have you wondering if that could possibly be true because she is so much fun.
Born on July 4th, 2000, we believe her full name is Sparkler, and that couldn’t be more appropriate. She adores people and her squeaky toys, and on warm mornings in the fenced dog run, Sparky makes a beeline for the play pool.
Sparky is spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Dog adoption fee is $150.

for the Shelter is coming up on August 3 in Sister Bay! Tickets to this
spicy summer party are $75 each and may be ordered online at

The Humane Society is
here to take care of animals
that others can no
longer care for, or that have strayed away from their original
homes.
Please call us if a financial or family situation makes it impossible to
continue caring for a family pet.
Our first concern is for that animal
who does not have a say in the process. Contact DCHS at

discuss the surrender process in a non-judgmental, positive way.
