Don't these inquiring green eyes stay with you? These eyes belong to SCHWARTZ, a sleek grey-haired male cat who was brought into the Humane Society on August 6th.
Schwartz hails from Union Township, where life was rough for awhile before he was rescued. This handsome grey face had wounds on it and his poor nose was so congested he could hardly breathe.
Schwartz has received plenty of cattery staff attention and responded very positively. He’s in the shelter lobby now, neutered, vaccinated, and 100% healthy. He’s a favorite of the volunteers (who are so important in our daily work) because Schwartz makes his love of people very obvious.
Look into these eyes and try saying "no"! Schwartz and the other 60+ cats available for adoption may be seen at the shelter on Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat-Sun from noon to 4pm. Adoption cost is $85.
Coming up: “Taste of the Top”, Top of the Hill Shops, Fish Creek on Saturday, Sept. 24. DCHS booth and the deservedly famous Pet Parade at 2pm. All vaccinated social dogs on leashes welcome. Join us!
