Jack's Wild About People
By Door County Humane Society and Sponsored by Serves You Right Catering
Aug 17, 2011 - 8:51:09 AM
The kennel staff at the shelter is mad for this new dog, and he is just crazy in love with life!
This is JACK, a medium size Lab/Australian Shepherd (?) mix with a magnetic personality. He was born in July, 2010 and bounced around to a couple homes in his first year because of changing family situations. In our records, Jack is a stray because he was not reclaimed.
This is one terrific dog, delighted with every new person he meets, and every new treat that comes his way. Jack has played well with younger children, and has picked up leash walks like he’s been doing them all his life. He’s now up to date with vaccinations and was neutered last week.
"Please come visit me"
If your family needs a bright spirit in their lives, Jack’s the guy for the job. He’ll bring years of fun and companionship in exchange for the stability of a real home.
We're counting down the days until "Bark In The Park", and hope all dog lovers will join the fun! Saturday, August 27 at Sunset Park, 3rd Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. It's a $25 registration fee and if you raise at least $25 additional in pledges, the commemorative T-shirt is yours to remember this fun day. Registration at 9am, the walk led by baby camel Harley Jr begins at 10am followed by lunch and entertainment. Lots of great booths and pet information as well.
The Humane Society is here to take care of animals that others can no
longer care for, or that have strayed away from their original homes.
Please call us if a financial or family situation makes it impossible to
continue caring for a family pet. Our first concern is for that animal
who does not have a say in the process. Contact DCHS at 746.1111 to
discuss the surrender process in a non-judgmental, positive way.
We're located at 3475 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay
(County PD, across from Cherryland Airport)
