Victor2.jpg
Victor.
Meet VICTOR and HUMBLE, two older dogs that no one remembered to care about.

Both were found in northern Door, Victor walking along Forest Road in Sevastopol, while Humble was running on the bluff by Horseshoe Bay Road.

These are gentle, calm, and mellow seniors that have been a joy to get to know. They bring a kind of sweetness to every new experience at the shelter.

Victor is a 10+ year old Pointer mix, weighing 64
pounds, who arrived on May 5th.  He has not had anyone ask to meet him, which makes us sad.

Humble.
Humble is a 78 pound black & tan hound mix, also 10+ years, with “mellow” as his middle name.

Any family or single person who is considering a new dog in their lives is missing an opportunity if they don’t meet Victor and Humble.

Adoption cost is $150; the adopter receives 30 days of pet insurance free, with an option to continue coverage.

Shopping Day at EconoFoods this Saturday, June 16.

The Humane Society is here to take care of animals that others can no longer care for, or that have strayed away from their original homes.  Please call us if a financial or family situation makes it impossible to continue caring for a family pet.

Our first concern is for that animal who does not have a say in the process.  Contact DCHS at 746-1111 to discuss the surrender process in a non-judgmental, positive way.

We're located at 3475 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay  (County PD, across from Cherryland Airport)
