Ozzie the brindle boy.

Here’s an OZZIE that is looking for a Harriet … or a Sam, Diane, or Jason. This brindle boy is 10-months old; he’s a mix of boxer and pit bull terrier.

Ozzie has wonderful social skills, playing with all the dogs in the kennel area and then volunteering to be the first one out for a walk with one of our shelter volunteers.

Ozzie was surrendered to the shelter in mid-May, and he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Now he’s ready for anything, but hopes for an active, playful family where he can show everyone just how special he is.

Adopter receives 30 days of pet health insurance free, with option to continue on your own. Adoption cost is $150.

The Humane Society is here to take care of animals that others can no longer care for, or that have strayed away from their original homes. Please call us if a financial or family situation makes it impossible to continue caring for a family pet.

Our first concern is for that animal who does not have a say in the process. Contact DCHS at 746-1111 to discuss the surrender process in a non-judgmental, positive way.
