Teddy the Terrier Seeks Home with a Tennis Ball

"I'll bring my tennis ball right along with me, ok?"
Teddy the Terrier.
Terriers make some of the most loyal and delightful pets of all the dog breeds, and do we have a great example at the shelter right now. Meet TEDDY, a two year old mix, recently surrendered from Southern Door County.
Teddy was born in mid-February 2009, and originally adopted from the Wausau shelter in May ’09. His former owner was forced to surrender him because of a move out of the area. She writes, "Teddy is very fun and friendly. He loves to roll around in the grass and to run."
He was shaved last Friday to remove some stubborn mats and is feeling so much cooler and happier. Teddy weighs 51 lbs., a little more than we’d like to see, due to his sedentary lifestyle with an older owner. Now he’s chasing the tennis ball all around the fenced yard here at the shelter, so he’s getting a chance to stretch those legs.
Teddy has a personality that will match either a family or an individual; he just wants to be part of the people action. Teddy was not been around other dogs or cats in his previous home. He’s now up-to-date with vaccinations and has been neutered. Adoption fee is $120.00.
