Happy 4th of July to all Door County friends! On Saturday, July 2, there will be a brat fry fundraiser at EconoFoods from 10am-2pm. And DCHS volunteers will be handing out shopping lists of sorely needed items for our homeless animals. Animal population presently at DCHS: 141 cats and 9 dogs. full of that lively curiosity that makes kittens the most amusing companions ever. This litter was born at the shelter, the first ones of the season! It is too early to spay or neuter these characters, so that responsibility rests with the adopter.
The good news is … there is a 2-for-1 special, so take a couple of siblings and they will double the pleasure of cat ownership. A braced set of kittens will keep each other company and perhaps make some mischief together. They will grow up knowing the patterns and expectations of your household. Adoption cost is $85.00.
