Shop online when you can't BUY LOCAL!
It's great to shop locally and support our Door County businesses whenever we can. We all love our Door County galleries, restaurants, and retail outlets.
But sometimes many of us do shop online and make the choice to buy from a non-local source that may or may not carry products from Door County. And making purchases on the internet is certainly easier and safer than it used to be. In addition, not everyone has the time or mobility to get out and peruse the local offerings.
DoorCountyTravelersJournal.com has opened an online store, and we do offer a number of products made in or pertaining to Door County. For example, we'll feature Door County authors, past and present, whose careful study of our area has resulted in wonderful works of non-fiction and fiction.
We've
also made a commitment to the local community with this online store.
As an affiliate marketer, we earn a tiny commission on each sale. We
donate all these monies to the Door County Humane Society. At this
facility, located south of Sturgeon Bay, the homeless animals of our
area find "safe harbor" from whatever storm they find themselves in.
Hundreds of dogs and cats find new "forever homes" thanks to the fine
efforts of staff and volunteers of the DCHS.
Please consider using our online store whenever you can. Your purchase is safe and secure, and you'll have the satisfaction of leaving some dollars in Door County for a wonderful program ... the Door County Humane Society.
