The Wellness Center of Door County, Inc. is thrilled to announce the addition of Heidi Derbick, MSN, RN, APNP, FNP-BC, to their clinic staff. Heidi brings experience caring for patients’ ages 1 month - 70+ years to the position. As a family nurse practitioner, she will provide key primary care services including pediatric and well child exams, adult and adolescent health, women’s health, and acute care. She will also complement other staff in offering school, sports and pre-employment physicals, chronic disease management, and preventative care.
Heidi is excited to be joining the Wellness Center at a key stage of their growth. The clinic recently began seeing patients in its new, state-of-the art clinic on 5th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. “My belief that patient care needs to be focused on the entire individual is the cornerstone of my practice. Providing competent and compassionate care is my personal commitment to my patients.”
Heidi’s degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UW-Green Bay, a Master’s degree in Nursing from Concordia College, and Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and will continue to serve the community in this capacity through the Wellness Center. She lives in Sturgeon Bay with her family.
With the addition of Heidi’s services, the Wellness Center now has two full-time nurse practitioners on staff to serve patients’ needs. To schedule an appointment, please call (920) 746-9444.
