Clark Cruises the Dells area with his Buddies

The weekend of September 24-26, 2010 was a special one for just under 30 Pontiac Solstices and Saturn Skys from the Great Lakes region.
This was the fifth annual run/cruise/rally/gathering for this group of friends whose common bond is an infatuation with and love of a rather splendid vehicle, often referred to as the "Kappa", after the original concept car developed by Pontiac a few years back. Now "obsolete" due to the demise of the Pontiac brand and the Saturn brand, the car has developed quite a following.
Participants began arriving as early as Thursday and came from Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Iowa, and Illinois. The earlybirds had a run to the venerable Wollersheim Winery on Friday. A supper gathering followed and the evening brought more Skys and Solstices to the secluded and peaceful Baker's Sunset Resort on the shore of Lake Delton, the neighbor of the hugely popular Wisconsin Dells.
By Saturday morning, the group was complete and raring to go.
