Egg Harbor Business Association Introduces Winter Harbor Madness

A new winter festival is coming to Door County! It will take place in Egg Harbor, known for Pumpkin Patch Festival, New Year's Parade, and Frosty Fest. Including
an ice fishing tournament, snowmobile poker run and dance, Winter
Harbor Madness will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011, Martin Luther
King Jr. weekend.
Register for the ice fishing tournament between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. at the Village of Egg Harbor Marina or in advance at Carrington Pub & Grill, Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, John Henry’s, Mojo Rosa’s, Shipwrecked Brew Pub and other area watering holes. Entry fee is $20. Awards will be given for biggest Trout, Walleye, Perch, Northern and Whitefish.
The Door Central Sno-goers will hold a Poker Run, followed by the annual snowmobile dance. The poker run starts at Casey's BBQ & Smokehouse in downtown Egg Harbor. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Hands will be drawn at John Henry's in Egg Harbor at 3:30 p.m. Entry fee is $7, with $225 of prize money available. The Sno Ball Dance is open to the public and begins at 8 p.m. with live music by the Modern Day Drifters. It's being held at the Carrington Pub & Grill at the Landmark Resort. There is a $5 cover.
