This is a major Door County festival.
Celebrating winter’s wonderland, Fish Creek will host a weekend of fun and frivolity February 5 - 7, 2010. Winter Fest activities throughout the village will feature something to delight every age. From spitting a cherry pit to sampling chili or an evening of rock & roll, the weekend’s activities will include food, music, and games. There's a firemen's pancake breakfast, “Kites Over the Bay” will paint the sky with a rainbow of color, the Peninsula Art School will serve up homemade soup in handcrafted pottery bowls, and the Door Community Auditorium will host the 6th Annual Door County Idol competition. Hop on the trolley for a free ride around town to check out the beautifully decorated shops, boutiques and parks. Dog sled rides and a gathering around small bonfires Friday evening!
