Peninsula Players Theatre is offering a discount to veterans and current military personal to its production of Aaron Sorkin's riveting courtroom drama "A Few Good Men" through Sunday, August 14. "We wanted to give recognition to those who have expressed their duty of citizenship through military service," said Audra Baakari Boyle, the Players Business Manager.
Patrons walking up in uniform or saying salute and sharing their branch of service to the box office staff will receive 25% off a pair of tickets to any performance of “A Few Good Men.” Offer is limited to walk-up sales only. Not valid on previously purchased tickets, phone or internet orders or valid with other offers. “We would love to see as many uniforms in the audience each night as we do on stage,” said Baakari Boyle.
With a large cast of 19, “A Few Good Men” follows the absorbing story of deception and conspiracy at high levels of the military. An inexperienced member of the Navy Judge Advocate Generals’ Corps (JAG Corps) squares-off against top brass in an attempt to defend two Marines, Dawson and Downey, who are accused of murdering one of their own in an allegedly ordered hazing incident.
The Peninsula Players perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. with the closing 4 p.m. matinee performance Sunday, August 14. Discount tickets are available for groups of 15 or more. Individual tickets are also available. Individual ticket prices range from $32 to $38. There are no performances on Mondays. For more information or to reserve tickets phone the Peninsula Players box office at 920-868-3287 or visit the website at www.peninsulaplayers.com.
